They say "In the misty third month, one sails down to Yangzhou." – so we actually went!

The Tachikawa team traded their desks and code for a rendezvous with this thousand-year-old city. No mundane meetings – just the spring breeze of Yangzhou, the shimmering waves of Slender West Lake, and a team-building session that left us laughing until our stomachs ached.

From the very first icebreaker, everyone quickly shifted from being colleagues to comrades in arms. Two people who usually sat next to each other and only talked about work became back-to-back partners in the team-building games. The absolute highlight, however, was the baseball session – a perfect blend of strategy and action, with clear role division. It tested individual reflexes, but more importantly, it pushed team synergy to the limit. The moment the bat hit the ball, every pair of eyes followed its trajectory; the moment it was caught, the whole team erupted in cheers loud enough to lift the roof off.2.jpg

Just like every project and every technical challenge we face – there is no perfect individual, only a perfect team. When a group of people come together with one heart and one direction toward a common goal, the energy that ignites is far more powerful than anything one person could achieve alone.3.jpg

In the evening, we took a boat ride along the ancient Grand Canal. With a gentle breeze on our faces and the shimmer of lights reflected on the water, we chatted about the day's highlights and shared snippets of our work and daily lives. In that moment, it struck me that a great company isn't just a place that pays you – it's a place that takes you to pause, to breathe, and to take in the view.

A brief pause, a stronger start.

The breezes of Yangzhou heard our laughter, and now, fully recharged, we are ready for what we truly love.

The road ahead is long, but it lies right beneath our feet. To every member of the Tachikawa team – let's continue to move forward, hand in hand, and create something remarkable together!
